This week was busier than what I thought it would be, with Halloween and all that. So this is as finished as it gets.

#14: Domestic Bliss

Nothing like having the boys playing while I bake a cake that we can all enjoy later!

Some day I will actually spend the money in getting me a really cute apron :)

Beloved

I like this week's theme. Based on my husband and I, whom I love so much that we married twice :) (long story). This is as finished as it will get because we are all sick at home right now!

#12: fortnight

Next month my husband will be leaving to China to help a lab to get their techniques in place. Quite impressive, isn't it?
Ignacio, baby#2 and I will be waiting for a fortnight for him to return. Ignacio does not yet understand time, but I was planning to make a calendar and mark the days so he has some notion that daddy's return is getting closer.

Sorry for the late entry! I was out of town and I just came back! Anyway, I used to live in an extremely windy city :)

9: Pocahontas

Inspired by Hanna, I also went with a Disney character, Pocahontas is probably my favourite Disney's heroine for her many virtues. As you can see, I did not use reference, not as a feat or a "lookit I'm awesome" thing, but because I feel I am already influenced enough by Disney and I did not want to just end up copying her, I wanted some of me to show through... which I think it didn't :/

Additionally, Summer is killing me too, but for other reasons. I am pregnant and the first trimester is really rough on me.

#8: MIssing you

Hubby is in Brussels, baby can't sleep well, we both miss him. Happily he'll be back soon.

#7: Ideal July

In Argentina, my country of origin, July is the middle of the winter. On the 20th we celebrate friends day and it is very low key and non commercial but  very sweet indeed. We take it as a great excuse to get together and go for a coffee or go eat pizza with beers. I miss my girlfriends dearly, and my ideal July would be to get together on the 20th and have some cappuccinos and share a cake :)

Sometimes, he feeds me :)

5: Tea

Tea and a book on the evenings after working hard. You can't beat that!

Yes, I totally admit that this was very much *not* what I had in mind when I thought of the prop, but hey...

#3: yellow

Because I do not have a favourite colour, I drew about me when I did have a favourite color. I was about 4 and in my kinder, my teacher asked about our favourite colour. I noticed that all the girls liked pinks, boys liked blues and reds, every colour was mentioned, but yellow. I felt so sorry for yellow that when it was my turn I said it was my favourite. I did not want yellow to feel lonely and unloved.
